Episode Notes

Joaquin Phoenix Talks The Ending of Joker & His Transformation

We are so humbled to welcome Joaquin Phoenix, star of the new DC film Joker, on to the show this week! The guys were able to sit down with him at the press junket for Joker, and they spent an awesome 30 minutes chatting about how he prepared for the role, how they decided Joker's makeup look, some hilarious stories from behind the scenes of shooting the film and so much more!

We also discuss the new trailers for (takes a deep breathe*) Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn (starring Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ewan McGregor), and Michael Bay's latest, 6 Underground (starring Ryan Reynolds, Mélanie Laurent, Dave Franco). Spider-Man is back! We did a weekly poll on whether you all thought he was ever really out or it was just a publicity stunt. Tune in for the results!

For this week's BlendGame, we of course had to discuss our favorite works from Joaquin Phoenix! You all played along on Twitter using #JoaquinPhoenixBlend and we had a blast. Next week's game, however, is extra special. We will be discussing our favorite performances from Will Smith to celebrate his career and new film Gemini Man. BUT, it's extra special because the first time ReelBlend is doing a giveaway.
